Styles by Joanne Fortune was born out of a desire to pursue my passions in the beauty and styling industry — and to use those gifts in service to others. After beginning my career in a salon, I discovered my true calling was working with brides and at events, where I could pour not only my artistry but also my heart into every client.
Stepping away from salon life was an act of faith. I devoted my time and energy to building a business that allowed me to serve people in a deeper way — creating a calm, uplifting experience that reflects the ministry behind my work. What began as an individual stylist offering exceptional bridal and event services quickly grew beyond what I could carry alone.
Recognizing the increasing demand, I built a team of like‑minded professionals who share my passion for enhancing natural beauty and serving clients with compassion, excellence, and integrity. Our purpose is bigger than hair and makeup — it’s about helping each person feel seen, valued, confident, and radiant.
As a team, we continually strive to elevate our skills and knowledge so we can exceed expectations and offer a consistent, wonderful experience across the board. Makeup Artist Janine has been in the industry since 2019. As soon as Joanne noticed her fascination with makeup, Joanne encouraged her to follow that path and thus formed a sister-duo partnership. Janine specializes in soft, natural glam but for anyone who wants to go bold, she has no problem achieving as well.

Social Media Manager / Makeup Artist Jackie and Joanne have known each other since middle school and reconnected years later through their church community. Jackie has built her career in social media as an influencer, content creator, and manager for a variety of brands. She also enjoys working with makeup clients for weddings and special events, developing her skills as a self-taught artist. Jackie adds both creativity and a fresh perspective to the team.

Hair / Makeup Artist Jamie first met Joanne while attending Bellus Academy together. She is a passionate and dedicated hair and makeup artist. Known for her ability to create customized looks that enhance natural beauty and reflect individual personalities, Jamie is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry while maintaining a warm and personable approach with each client.

Hair / Makeup Artist Magely has been in the hair & makeup industry since 2022, with soft glam as her signature style. She also enjoys special-effects makeup for creative, fun moments. Outside of beauty, she cherishes traveling, coffee dates with loved ones, and intentional time with Jesus. Her gentle presence and joyful spirit create an uplifting experience for every client.
Makeup Artist Danya has been a makeup artist for more than 15 years, beginning her career right out of high school in 2009. She trained at Makeup Designory in Los Angeles and spent her early years freelancing on short films, photoshoots, and weddings. Her artistry spans many styles, with a growing love for natural, fresh, and glowy looks.
