Styles by Joanne Fortune was born out of a desire to pursue my passions in the beauty and styling industry. After starting my career working in a salon, I discovered my true calling was working with brides and at events. Realizing my passion, I bravely stepped away from the salon life and devoted my time and energy to starting my own business providing exceptional services for bridal and event clients. Starting out as an individual stylist, I quickly realized the demand for my services was growing by the day and that I couldn't handle it all alone.
So, I decided to build a team of like-minded professionals who share my passion for making people feel confident by enhancing their natural beauty. Our ultimate goal is to create breathtaking transformations that make our clients leave our chair feeling confident and radiant.
We're continually striving to elevate our skills and knowledge as a team so that we can continue to exceed our clients' expectations and offer the same wonderful experience across the board. Jamie first met Joanne while attending Bellus Academy together. She is a passionate and dedicated makeup artist and hair stylist. Known for her ability to create customized looks that enhance natural beauty and reflect individual personalities, Jamie is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry while maintaining a warm and personable approach with each client.
Shonna
Hair and Makeup Artist
Shonna is a talented hair and makeup artist known for her personable nature and creative flair. She and Joanne first met while collaborating on a project, and since then, we've formed a strong partnership in 2023. With an eye for detail and a passion for enhancing natural beauty, Shonna brings her unique touch to every client, ensuring they feel confident and beautiful. Jackie and Joanne have known each other since middle school and reconnected years later through their church community. Jackie has built her career in social media as an influencer, content creator, and manager for a variety of brands. She also enjoys working with makeup clients for weddings and special events, developing her skills as a self-taught artist. Jackie adds both creativity and a fresh perspective to the team.
